Philippe Bouvier was born in Hull and studied at Université Laval.  He was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 1995.  He chiefly practices civil law, insurance and civil liability law as well as labour law.

Mr. Bouvier has written articles on the admissibility of video evidence before administrative courts, published as part of the XII and  XIV Conférence des juristes de l'État and the 2000 Symposium on recent developments in Workplace Health and Safety Law.
