Denis Bradet was born in Jonquière (Kénogami), and in 1971 he graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Laurentian University in Ontario. He studied law at the Université Laval and was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 1975. He chiefly practices labour law, administrative law and workplace health and safety law. He also deals with such issues as negotiations and pay equity. He is a certified trainer.
Mr. Bradet is the Chairman of the Fondation Robert-Giffard, and Secretary and member of the Fondation Bagatelle’s board of directors (Domaine Cataraqui). He also a member of the Centre hospitalier Robert-Giffard’s board of directors, member of the official board of the Chaire de psychiatrie de l’Université Laval, member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers, Treasurer and member of the Institut québécois de l’ébénisterie’s board of directors, and member of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) (Quebec Division).
In addition, he was Chairman of the Défi Beauceron (Fondation Robert-Giffard) (1994 – 1997) and Vice-Chairman of the Fondation Bagatelle de Sillery’s Fund-Raising Campaign (1994 – 1995).
