Pascale Racicot was born in Granby and studied at the Université Laval.  She was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 1990.  She chiefly practices labour law and administrative law.

  
Ms. Racicot worked for seven years as a counsellor with the Centrale des syndicats démocratiques. She represented the C.S.D. and its affiliated unions before administrative and judicial courts, chiefly regarding arbitration and certification issues.  Finally, she worked for three years at the Canada Industrial Relations Board as legal counsel.
