John White was born in Lévis and studied at the Université Laval.  He was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 1978.  He chiefly practices civil law, construction law, criminal law and disciplinary law.

  
He delivers presentations before various groups of construction contractors and car dealers.

  
He is also Chairman of the Inter-zone de hockey BC Rive-Nord league, Vice-Chairman of the Association de hockey mineur de Sillery and Vice-Chairman of the Gouverneurs de Ste-Foy AA franchise.
  
He was a member of the Jeune Barreau de Québec’s board of directors (1985) and Treasurer of the Jeune Barreau de Québec (1986).

Mr. White has co-authored practical guides on the new Civil Code of Quebec for construction contractors and car dealers.
