The Grondin, Poudrier, Bernier law firm was founded in 1948 by Mr. Ubald Désilets, one of the first counsellors to practice labour law in Quebec in the areas of education, health and construction.

Over the years, the firm expanded its activities to other areas of law and the firm’s practice is now both specialized and diversified.

Most of the firm’s principal associates have been with us from the time they started practicing and several of them joined the team after articling.  Other counsellors, recognized in their fields, have joined the firm at various points in their careers.

Many of the firm’s counsellors have obtained graduate and post-graduate university degrees and have endowed the partnership with highly specialized knowledge.

Certain members of the firm have become judges and are now members of the Supreme Court of Canada, the Cour d’appel du Québec, the Cour supérieure du Québec, and the Cour du Québec as well as administrative tribunals.

The firm is comprised of over forty counsellors who practice law throughout Quebec.  The firm has offices in Quebec City and Montreal. We are member of the European Association of Attorneys (AEA).
