Articling students employed with our firm are, without a
doubt, our primary source of young recruits. Over the
last two years, a significant number of our articling
students joined our staff after having completed their
practicums with us.
Every year, our firm offers six articling positions:
four in our Québec City office and two in our Montréal
office. We enable our articling students to benefit from
comprehensive practicums by assigning them various
duties and giving them the opportunity to work in all
our fields of practice.
Our selection process involves two interviews. During
the first interview, we meet a large number of
candidates. We believe that overly restrictive selection
criteria could eliminate persons who would fit in well
with our team. During the second interview, we meet the
candidates whose profiles indicate they may eventually
join our work team.
We then invite the persons who have participated in the
second interview to meet our team of counsels and para-legals,
so they can confirm their choices.
Our firm is a signatory to the agreement concluded
between several Québec City and Montréal firms regarding
the hiring of articling students. We therefore begin the
annual interview process in March.
As soon as they have accepted our articling offer, we
invite the future students to participate in various
extramural activities organized by the firm to promote
their integration. We offer our articling students
competitive salaries that compare favourably with those
offered by other major law firms in the region.
